King’s Arms Ministries is a teaching and healing ministry devoted to proclaiming and ministering the power of the kingdom of God. Through biblical teaching and prayer ministry we aim to restore health to the whole person, to enable people to grow into Christian maturity, and to equip Christians and Christian organizations to minister likewise.
The ministry is called "King's Arms"...
...Because the Father embraces us tightly with His loving arms.
...Because the arm of the Lord is strong: "The LORD will lay bare his holy arm in the sight of all the nations, and all the ends of the earth will see the salvation of our God" (Isaiah 52:10).
"Surely the arm of the LORD is not too short to save, nor his ear too dull to hear" (Isaiah 59:1).
...Because the arms of the Lord were crucified for you and for the whole world, yet He has risen and is victorious.
Mark Pertuit met Jesus and was saved when he was 12 years old. He is happily married to Angela, and they have two wonderful children.
Mark has been teaching on the gospel of the kingdom of God and ministering its healing power for 25 years. He has taught and ministered throughout the US, as well as in the UK, Belgium, the Netherlands, Germany, Denmark, Venezuela, Ecuador, Argentina, Australia, and South Korea. All of his ministry is grounded in the reality of the crucified and risen Lord who, with the Father, continues to pour the Holy Spirit out upon humanity. The powerful presence of the Spirit causes God's reign to break into our lives, resulting in transformation, growth, and healing of body and soul. These signs, the "works of the kingdom," are meant to follow along with the proclamation of God's kingdom -- just as Jesus modeled.
His teaching focuses on the real identity of God, and how encountering the true God transforms human identity and human community. In other words, to know (and to grow in the knowledge of) the living God means we become who we were created to be, and function accordingly. That this process of sanctification always involves the intentional work of spiritual formation, the healing of the body, as well as the healing of the soul (sometimes called inner healing). To say that God heals our minds and hearts, our emotions and wills, is to say that He sets us free. The love of the Father causes us to become like Jesus, rather than being determined by our personal histories.
Mark taught, traveled and ministered extensively with Leanne Payne for a decade.
He served as a senior pastor for 10 years. He first pastored an international English-speaking church in the heart of Antwerp, Belgium, and later moved to the Washington DC metro area to lead a Vineyard congregation. He loves encountering new people and their cultures, and thinks of himself as a global Christian.
Mark earned an MTh (Master of Theology) from the University of Oxford (UK), as well as a BA from Rutgers University, graduating with highest honors. He originally hails from the New York metropolitan area, having grown up in New Jersey.
